From being part of large systems, to building something of my own.

Hi, my name is Annie, and I’m the founder of HR Partnering.

I’ve spent over 20 years working in compensation and HR at a global level, and throughout my career, I kept noticing the same pattern, especially with smaller businesses.

They grow fast. They have ambition, talent, and vision. But when it comes to HR—payroll, benefits, compliance, employee experience—everything becomes fragmented, reactive, and often stressful.

Most of them can’t afford a full HR team and at the same time, the existing solutions in the market are either too basic… or too complex and expensive.

So what happens is—they’re left in this gap.

That’s the problem I’m trying to solve.

HR Partnering is a cross-border HR outsourcing model designed specifically for small and growing businesses in Canada and the U.S.

We provide a fully integrated foundation, payroll, benefits, compliance, onboarding, through a simple, subscription-based model.

But more importantly, we bring consistency and peace of mind.

We don’t just “process HR.” We create a stable system where both the business owner and their employees feel supported.

What makes our model different is how we approach scale.

Instead of customizing everything, we standardize the core. We use technology and structured processes to create efficiency, while still delivering a very human experience.

So to our clients, it feels personalized but behind the scenes, it’s highly consistent and scalable.

Right now, we are in the pre-launch stage.

I’m building this together with a U.S.-based HR partner, and we’re already seeing strong validation from early conversations with business owners.

This is something I care about deeply.

Because I believe that small businesses deserve the same level of HR support as large organizations—just in a way that fits their reality. For me personally, this venture is also a transition.

Something that is steady, meaningful, and long-term.
